Stay well tuned in your embedded project. Always find the right tone by using scalable and exchangeable FPGA technology

For best results in development projects our target is to make the design work as easy as possible for our customers. That is why we place great emphasis on compatibility. For example, our proven MCV, M100PF and M100PFS System-on-Modules are compatible with each other. All three module families can basically be operated on the same baseboard. The advantage for our customers is that they can move easily from one FPGA family to the other. This means that developers only need to get to know one family and can still work with all of them. This minimizes risks for our customers.  They save effort and costs. The only thing to consider are small differences in the technology, which essentially relate to the I/O voltages.

The MCV system-on-module offers the full flexibility of the Altera Cyclone V SoC FPGA family. It integrates an ARM-based hard processor system (HPS) consisting of processor, peripherals, and memory interfaces with the FPGA fabric using a high-bandwidth interconnect backbone. The Altera SoCs combine the performance and power savings of hard intellectual property (IP) with the flexibility of programmable logic.

The M100PF SoM is based on Microchip's PolarFire FPGA and provides the full flexibility of the popular FPGAs for demanding applications in industrial and medical technology. PolarFire captivates with up to 50 percent lower power consumption than competing FPGAs, at mid-range densities with exceptional safety and reliability. With the SoM, we extend the FPGA functionality with RAM, Flash, Clocking and additional features.

Our M100PFS SoM offers an enhanced feature set with IP reference design, customized zero-stage bootloader, U-Boot as generic bootloader, Linux with Yocto support, and Hart Software Services (HSS). It is based on Microchip's Polarfire system-on-chip FPGA family, the 64-bit RISC-V quad-core processor subsystem with low-power FPGA technology. The SoM is suitable for applications such as safety-critical systems and artificial intelligence where a high-performance, secure and power-efficient computing architecture needs to be combined with an FPGA. The wide range includes applications such as smart embedded vision, industrial automation with robotics, telecommunications and industrial Internet of Things (IIOT).
